From an Experiment to Neo Armory (2015–)

Neo Armory began in early 2015 as a personal experiment.

What started as late-night tests with 3D printing, design, and digital fabrication quickly turned into something unexpected. A few early creations—small, strange, nostalgic objects inspired by Japan, retro technology, and sci-fi culture—began going viral online.

People weren’t just liking them.
They were asking where they could own them
That moment changed everything.

Neo Armory became a way to share those creations with the world, not as mass-produced products, but as tangible pieces of imagination—objects that feel personal, limited, and intentional.

About us

A Love Letter to Japan & Retro Futures

Neo Armory exists at the intersection of Japan, nostalgia, and future memories.

We grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, surrounded by:
VHS tapes and CRT screens early video games and camcorders
sci-fi films that imagined hopeful, strange futures

For us, Japan isn’t just a location—it’s a feeling.

Through Neo Armory, we wanted to give back a small piece of that feeling to the world:
The Japan people miss.
The Japan of late-night streets, glowing signs, and quiet moments.
The nostalgia of retro tech and analog imperfection.

Every design is meant to feel like something you remember, even if you never owned it before.

A Tiny Studio in Harajuku, Tokyo

Neo Armory is not a factory.

We are a small, independent design and 3D printing studio based in Harajuku, Tokyo, run by a two-person team.

We do everything ourselves:

Designing
Prototyping
3D printing
Finishing
Packaging
Shipping orders to customers around the world.

This hands-on process means every piece carries the marks of being made, not manufactured.

We believe small studios can still create meaningful objects—objects with character, intention, and story.

How We Make Things (For Now)

At this stage, all Neo Armory products begin in-house.

  • Prototypes are designed and tested by us

  • Many items are fully produced in our studio

  • Some components—such as electronics or specialty parts—are responsibly sourced from China

We’re honest about this process because transparency matters.

Our long-term dream is to:

  • work with licensed properties

  • use high-end manufacturing such as plastic injection, emulsion printing, and industrial-grade machines

For now, we embrace the imperfections of small-batch production.

They’re part of the charm—and part of the story.

Built Slowly, With Intention

Neo Armory is still growing.

Every order helps us:

improve materials
refine designs
invest back into better tools
keep this studio alive

We’re building something long-term—slowly, carefully, and without rushing into mass production.

This is not fast fashion.

This is collector culture.
