Shot over more than a decade in Japan, this collection represents an ongoing exploration of neon-lit streets, quiet alleyways, rain-soaked cityscapes, and the atmosphere of modern urban life after dark. Each image is crafted with a filmmaker’s eye—blending photography and cinema into a singular visual language.

All works are created by an award-winning photographer and cinematographer, and a proud member of the Japanese Society of Cinematographers (JSC). This collection reflects years of lived experience in Japan, documenting the spaces between technology, solitude, and human presence in the city at night.
